Here is the beginning of Market Street in San Francisco, which starts from the iconic Ferry Building and cuts through the entire downtown of San Francisco. Many different forms of transportation have rode down Market Street over the years including horse drawn carriages, cable cars, street cars, trolley buses, the BART system, Muni, etc.

Birds Eye View

Here is a bird's eye view of the Ferry Building in San Francisco - built in 1898, it was one of the few iconic landmarks that survived the great 1906 earthquake. The building is still used as an active ferry terminal and hosts a weekly farmers market which brings the whole community out on Saturday mornings.
